If you guys read Coach Mike's blog he made some great points last week. This team is fighting hard, with the injuries we have if we can continue to win games it will bring HUGE success for the future. We have a Junior pitcher and two TRUE freshmen carrying the load right now. They are still learning

Remember Taryn Broussard had 5 HRs and 17 RBI in the first 12 games before she got hurt. She could easily be sitting at double digit HRs with Orgeron and Bridges and nearly 40 RBI as well.

Also, Courtney Hollier the 2B transfer from LSU was not cleared and has to sit out a year.

Throw in the fact that Christina Hamilton our #2 is out for a month. This team is competing. With only Bridges graduating this year, next season could be special. Real special.

Gonna be good times ahead, just gotta work through the downs. Go Cajuns

Boomer...you probably know more than me, but it is my opinion that while Hamilton is out, Rodgers is our #2. She is considerably better (at least this year) than Chenault.

Pretty good crowd last night considering there was a baseball game at the same time. I still believe this is a special Cajuns team and once they get healthy and get their swagger back we will see that. They are going to be fun to watch during the tournaments.

I agree.... but with Hamilton out, one tweak to Brignac or Rogers and Chennault is # 2.

Of course, but she was our #4...and, until Hamilton is back, is our #3...IMO.

Notice my post said one pitcher away from being #2---therefore she is our 3rd pitcher and if one of our top 2 go down she would be #2 and be throwing maybe close to half the innings!!!!
