_ Woof. I was hoping the Southern Miss series was the turning point for the season. Our base running is pretty bad. We have major issues at catcher and second base. Our hitting is coming around, but we still can't get it when we need it. With all that said...Cal is a really really good team. C'mon Tony.... _

I don't understand how we can regress in base running ability. We were very capable on the bases last year, this year it's like we are trotting JV guys out there to pinch run.

Po is not cutting the mustard at second. DH might be his best bet, the guy can hit.

Umps didn't help us at all in this game. IMO, they are responsible for 2 of the Cal runs so far.

U know there is being aggressive on the bases, and there is being down right stupid!!! Running down 6 runs is down right stupid! No reason for that.

I think we are slightly over .500 in stolen bases and fairly pathetic in overall base running mistakes.

This is by far the worst I've ever seen us run the bases. They have to get this fixed.

Southeastern does have a pretty good team like they did last year but I'm hearing you.

We aren't very good right now, and it shows.

We are inconsistent and lacking in some of the key fundamental areas, i.e. BASE RUNNING.
