Leonards stole one tonight for sure, he has to have more than 2. I wouldn't be surprsied if a catcher has the most SB on this team though.

Is it possible Babineaux over estimated this teams ability to run? We seem to be super aggressive and indecisive. Thats not a good combo.

_ It's not only the baserunning....it's the descision when to run and when not to run, when to send a runner, and when to throw up the stop sign. That's a big part of it. Keep that in mind. Like I said....aggressive running is on thing, but stupid baserunning is another thing

Tony said the same thing a couple weeks ago about being stupid on the bases. I wonder how much of this "stupid" comes from the guys giving the signs. I'm sure some of it is on the coaches calling the shots on when to steal and what not but our ability to steal and the and mental errors on the bases is alarming. Not just stealing bases, but overall our running on the bases is pi*s poor. Not going from first to third, not recognizing when a ball is going to fall, not scoring on a base hit with our fastest guy on second. That kind of stuff is not what goes on, on a team that made a regional last year. Not time to hit the panic button but conference play is quickly approaching.

FWIW, I will say that we did execute a nice hit a run earlier tonight though.
