Wow. Not again. This is what we didn't need for this season.

Question. If this has her sidelined for the majority of the season is there any chance she is still eligible for a medical redshirt?

Appendectomies are pretty routine now-a-days. I had one in high school and I was pretty much good to go with sports 2 weeks later.

It seems we're having a number of them considering the small sample size. Gabby & Taryn last year, and Christina this year.

It depends on whether or not they were able to remove the appendix before it ruptured. If it ruptures, determining recovery time is more complicated.

Oh, it definitely is a terrible feeling when your appendix is close to rupturing. I'm glad she got it out and now all she has to do is eat some pain pills and lay down for a day or two, barring anything unforeseen.
