Just got back from park. No one working as of 11:30 AM. Great weather. Installing seats in center section of grandstands. No electriction, plumbers nor floor and wall people. The last two pictures of the locker room and film room.

Evidently, they come in at night...like little elves...and get a few things done...then leave before anybody sees them!!
They do work late at night. There was a crew installing seats at about 7pm last night. They usually take lunch about 11:30, as I've seen a number of workers sitting in the Cajundome Blvd parking lot about that time.
The lockers are being custom built on site by some of the UL plant guys, and they look great. They will have locking drawers and doors, and will all be stained once most of the trim is installed. These aren't basic lockers, and will have some custom design work on the doors. Very Nice.
Yes and a pretty nice one at that too.
Where is our boy"MisterCajun" to tell us how we got "duped"? He is such a huge UL fan I'm sure he will be here to tell us how excited he is to have been wrong about the seats.
I had forgotten about that.

I hope the name of this contractor is circulated about and that their performance on this project hurts them severely. If I owned a local business and ever needed any construction done, I would not even let them bid on the work.

The seats are VERY comfy, and the color matching with the benches are perfect. The coaches offices are wired & dry walled, and have a very nice tile with a Fleur-De-Lis logo as an accent between some of the tiles. The bathrooms have AC wired and plumbing stubbed out and are awaiting drywall. All of the club/box/media buildings are roofed with bricklayers pending arrival. Yesterday, the iron workers were working on the ramp system for the top level. This stadium will be gorgeous.
BTW, the contractor is actually adding a number of amenities not included in the original specifications, so maybe we could give him a break.

I take full credit for the chairbacks being installed. If I hadn't raised the ruckus that I had, you would still be seating on bleacher seats. The squeaky wheel does get the grease it seems.
Be sure to come on down to Section 106, Row 4, seats 4 through 8 and you can thank me personally. I look forward to visiting with you and might even buy you a $4.00 Diet Coke if I have enough money left over after I buy snacks and drinks for my wife and sons.
