    Default A Dear friend lost

I lost a dear friend Sunday morning. Bob Fournet passed away Sunday morning. He had knee surgery in August. He was doing well from this but unfortunately their was other issues that arose from this surgery. I sat by him for years at baseball, (The Dirty Dozen and a Half), football and basketball games. I will dearly miss him. Please keep him in your prayers.

He was a client of mine. You could not meet a finer man than Mr. Fournet.

My wife and I occupy seats right behind Frenchie and Bob Fournet. Bob Fournet was a passionate supporter of UL athletics. There have been a lot of humerous instances at football games, especially so when he and Frenchie debated the pros and cons of particular plays and play calling. He will be missed, for certain!!

Five of the Dirty Dozen and a Half have passed. Cliff Broussard was the last before Bob. It will be a sad moment for me at baseball, football and basketball games not to have Bob sitting next to me. The baseball games will be the one that will hurts the most.

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but without Bob Fournet I think we might still be waiting to host our first baseball regional.
