FWIW: Softball polls, March 8th

NFCA has released their latest rankings and the Cajuns didn't move a spot.

ESPN has not released their poll yet but I expect more of the same, maybe 1 or 2 spots up.

It's going to be real tough to earn respect (especially when Oklahoma can go 1-4 in a weekend and stay in the top 10 like they did last week) but we certainly have more opportunities down the road, this weekend we play what is supposed to be a decent North Texas team and then of course the Judi Garman classic the following weekend.

I'm pretty confident that the Cajuns can continue to get better as the season goes on, especially if they get some injured players back. Eyes on the prize!

Any thoughts? And please no whining

Ultimate College Softball Top 25

Up six spots from #20 and leapfrogged Oregon.

South Alabama came in at #33. How about a softball rivalry to complement the baseball one? Maybe Kittrell can be a softball volunteer coach next season.

Wouldn't mind a rivalry as long as we win all the games HA

I checked. They mercy-ruled Arizona...and beat Okie State, Auburn, and Sam Houston.

They loss to Georgia, Hawaii, Long Beach State, Arizona State, and UCLA.

Schedule doesn't seem overly hard to justify having 5 losses.
