Dorsey is no longer at Western. I'm not going into detail, but I can assure you she won't be coaching here.

Any news on the coaching situation---With the success of McNeese I say maybe it is time for Brodhead and his 2 daughters to try and turn this thing around---Seems that the Cowgirls have and STM is the State Champ------Have ya'll any thoughts on the situation????

I think Gary is a perfect fit for women's basketball. He's local, has basketball smarts, and seasoned. He would also have his daughter as a high school scout. And I don't think it would cost an arm and a leg to get him here. (He's probably had enough of Lake Chuck by now anyway)

    I can't think of a better fit.........

I speak to Coach Donald Williams of McNeese weekly and she says if Errol is to be let go that she thinks the best person for the job is Gary. She says that she would hate to lose Gary but knows that he would likely take the UL job if open and if he was offered. She speaks very highly of him and says he is a great X and O guy.

    McNeese Womens BBALL!!!
    26-6, 15-1 Conf.
Southland Conf Champs ( Tourney )
Southland Conf Champs ( Reg. Season )

Coach Brodhead is the perfect fit. Look at the success of McNeese. This would be another great hire by UL.

Nothing against Coach Brodhead and other assistant coaches, but I would hope UL would settle for nothing less than candidates with NCAA Division I head coaching experience if any vacancy opens. I love the body of work accomplished at McNeese and could see Coach Brooks Donald Williams on someone's short list.

Brooks and Garry would be a move in the right direction!

I know, that's why I like Coach Brooks Donald Williams and hope we look that way before someone else does. Lot's of changes already at http://sports.espn.go.com/ncw/news/story?id=6210938.
