We all know what's it like to have an ex-LSU coach, I'm not in favor of having any ex-LSU coaches here. And why would pokey leave pro job for our team?

The next game was coached by E.R.

The fans were never given a chance to grow their caring.

    Much fallacy in this statement.

    1. Packed EKL. What's that, 900 people. Big whoop.
    2. There were two more games before the championship game you speak of. it was the conference tournament for crying out loud.
    3. Caring is 1000 MTSU fans travelling 9.5 hours to root for their team in the tournament in Lafayette. That means taking days off from work, taking vacation time. Believe it or not, folks in Murfreesboro have jobs. Yet they outdrew the Cajuns on their home court in a championship game. You think the 900 people at EKL didn't know that game was going on? It wasn't important enough to them to make plans to go.
    4. J Kelley Hall coached the next game. It was in the NCAA tournament.

Not buying the excuses. Never have. Never will.

There are a few on this board who used to regularly attend women's basketball games. By their own admission they are bandwagon fans who aren't going now because the team isn't winning.

VO wants all teams to do well. And, he puts his money where his mouth is.

But most of the folks who are complaining couldn't find EK Long gym if you drew it on a map.

Don't get me wrong, I think we need to get a new coach, however, that is a pretty legitimate reason for not getting a new coach.
good poin. Not green dot good, but almost.

Get them a coach! The other day folks were on here calling for a new track coach and that sport brings in how much??? Please we need to leave ignorance aside if we are going to have a WBB team then they deserve a chance to win ie a good coach.

    1. You might get your justification for keeping him.
    2. Open your eyes, you might see him get kept.

    1) 900 could have been built upon.
    2) There were 1500 for the first conference/tourney game.
    3) Winning non stop throughout the 2000's will do that for a program.
    4) We are talking about fans support at home, ER coached the next home game.

No doubt you are right! Attendance should have been better but to pretend it would have never gotten better is nuts. MTSU did not build their following in a single season.

Not saying Pokey would want to coach at UL, but the WNBA is not the NBA. I doubt very seriously she is making much over $100,000 as an assistant.

Okay, I didn't know she was a GM. The money is not close to what she is making now.
