UL Keeps Rogers For Uncertain Future

Scott Farmer plans to meet with women's basketball coach Errol Rogers sometime in the next two weeks to evaluate his future with the program.

How do you evaluate the season?

Had an easiest 20% schedule.

Won 3 conference games in the 17th ranked conference.
Lost 5 straight to end the season.
Won 1 of last 9 games.
Won 2 of last 10
Won 2 of last 14

Except for the start of the season, 2010-2011 was a mirror image of the last 3, what is there to evaluate?

When has that ever been an accurate method for determination? Lamson certainly looks nice this time of year.

Perhaps an announcement would be a better form of confirmation, especially considering Rogers cant just stay around, since he isnt under contract this year. He would need an extension.

He will be released directly after that. My assumption is that you will see him released the day after his contract terminates, especially since no new contract negotiations have been discussed.

Now we need to start talking about replacements. Hopefully the administration and the athletic dept are already putting a seach committee together.

She took MSU to the NCAA tournament this year with a 26-7 record, with victories over UL and ULM, she coached in Lafayette from 1995-1999 for AAU teams and is from the Jennings area.

If you are correct, we are making a huge mistake.

31-90 over 4 seasons. He has a winning % of 25.6% in 4 seasons, this was his best season to date at 11-19.

Can we not move on, the year before he arrived we were 25-9 and lost to Marquette in the first round of the NCAA tournament, since then we have not gotten out of the 1st round of the SBC tournament.
