The past two weeks while not rainy have been very windy. The problem with spraying paint in the wind is that none of it gets onto what you are painting. It gets blown away before it gets to the surface. The higher you go the worse it gets because the overspray lands further away. Usually that some where is the nearest parking lot or street. You can imagine the number of cars passing on Cajun dome Blvd. and the student cars parked at the stadium all getting overspray on them. Given good painting weather the building could change color in about three days. I have had water tower projects drag on for weeks and then in two good days it's finished.Originally Posted by ULforlife
