I passed by the construction site at lunchtime today. The steel frame is going up!
In fact, they started erecting the steel yesterday. As of right now they have nearly two sides erected (Just the steel frame). It's quite a site to see so if you get a chance pass by. The pictures that will be posted aren't going to do it justice. This thing is massive.
Drove by yesterday... was so impressed I drove by again today.
This thing is HUGE. It's going to be NICE.
This construction should help us land some in season recruits who are going to take their official visits in the next few weeks. On top of that, I'm hoping that seeing this massive structure being erected helps our guys focus and get back that desire to win for the last 3 games of the season.
You said...erected....heh.Originally Posted by Kal
Yes it is a very nice sight for one to see. I had some arrons to run yesterday which took me by Cajun Field. I turned into the complex and saw the team practicing on both outdoor fields, with coaches perched on the towers and scurrying on the fields, all in the shadows of the towering beams of Louisiana's Indoor Practice Facility!!
Pics may be in the Advertiser today as I saw Dan McDonlad walking from the Indoor Facility towards the team's practice session.
I think WE(UL) will right the ship this week and finish the year off with 3 W''s. Then recruiting will kick in and Louisiana WILL have its best year ever in recruiting!! Look to hear in the near future the announcement of the Expansion of the Weight room!!!
Second winning season in a row, New Training area, New locker rooms, New Indoor Practice Facility, New Weight room, and New income streams!!!!!!
Yes Louisiana is headed in the RIGHT direction!!!

The steel looks nice but can anyone tell me why the basketball section of the facility has been a duck pond for 3 weeks? I'm about to go throw some decoys out there. Yes in case you are wondering, I have noticed that it has been raining. I was just referring to why it isn't draining.
Anybody got pikchahs?Originally Posted by ljr3721

To give you a size reference the black fence behind the frame is 12 feet tall.
See there's the duck pond. and I was right pictures don't do the structure justice. Much more impressive in person.Originally Posted by Turbine
