Closer up there is a whole bunch of rebarb being put together and an occassional cement truck rolling in. I am guessing this is the footing for the building being put in place.
Getting exciting, hopefully some walls will be coming up by the end of the month.

Fingernails on the chalkboard!
It's "RE-BAR" and "CONCRETE!"![]()
But yes, it should be for the footings.
Does the correct terminology make me an engineer yet?Originally Posted by CDeb

the area next to the indoor facility, that used to be the practice field. Is that going to be a new and improved practice field or part of the indoor facility?... thanks....
Turbine may have better info, but I understood that the "green space" you see in the background of the photo is where the outside practice field will stay. The area to the left of the picture (along Reinhardt Dr.) will be a new practice field, which will require irrigation and grass seeding to have it ready for the fall. The area to the right is almost all indoor facility.
I have gone by the field, and you are right there is a build up of a new field along Reinhardt next to the stadium. I do believe additional space will be available as always next to the softball field. It just looks that way to me from the excavations.
New and improved! It is turtle backed and has a new sprinkler system in it! It will be much more useable now than ever before, like a playing field.Originally Posted by leeman

Do you own your own helicopter or something? Awesome photos as usual.
How is the indoor facility going?
