  1. Default Re: Practice Facility

I may be completely turned around but I think it's the entrance facing the Athletic office.

the part off to the side is a basketball court. the plans will be going out for bid soon. There are different options for the building going out for bid, what you see in that rendering is most complete option.

Lets hope they go with the most complete, because there just may be other Universities within the state that end up building one also! Lets make it harder to trump!

La Tech or McNeese I feel would be the first to possibly look into building one, but NOT anytime soon. La Tech can not find the money to place the turf they bought from the Saints TWO seasons ago down, I know they can not do both. McNeese is DIaa and has the misfortune of the huricane to be concerned first with, speedy recovery for our brothers and sisters down the road!

yeah I think they are going to build the 100 yard field facility. If I remember right the basketball practice court part of project wont be built yet. I was hoping for the 100 yard facility over the proposed 80 yards facility.

My problem with the facility is the lack of parking to get a bus or method of transportation to get to the building! No doubt as far as the use was to practice if it rains or for really cold weather. How in the ____ do you get there from the ath. complex My guess is that you walk across the practice field or maybe run!!!!Had we put it across the street we could have driven to it!!!! this goes back to the days of Black. Col and where if it rained we would go----The bus would drop us there!!

Convert the intramural tennis courts to a parking lot that can be used for Lady Cajun Softball games as well.

And build new tennis courts across CajunDome blvd near the cross tunnel where they can be seen from the road.

OK lets see, the existing intramural courts are in red This would be great softball and indoor facility parking.

I would connect the softball parking lots, and expect paid attendance to jump.

I would move intramural tennis to the green area next to the tunnel.

The indoor facility is roughly in the blue area.
