When you get into the Big XII, replace Baylor and not my beloved Cyclones. That way I can make my way to the Big XII championship game and watch both of my teams play!

Man, tough luck for the Cyclones yesterday.

With Nebraska and Colorado having lost their way in the football world, the door couldn't be any wider for ISU.

I hope next year is "THE" year.

    From what I can gather:
    4 Home conference
    3 Road conference
Non-conference Home- Ohio and Eastern Michigan
Non-conference Road- LSU and 2 of the following who are rumored
    (Houston, Tex A&M, or UCF).

I believe we go to UCF in 2007.

Houston, Ohio, and Eastern Michigan are at Cajun Field. Plus 4 home conference games.

Heard a rumor about a possible backout of the LSU game because Oklahoma offered us 3/4 of a mil to go to Norman next year. LSU only paying $400k.
I would cancel and possibly reschedule in a couple of years with LSU if it ment and extra $350,000!!!

LSU fans might not understand but who cares. With the new indoor practice facility and building on the season we just had, recruiting and the program should be much stronger in a few years!!

News in the San Antonio area was that A&M was looking to add LaTech. But, I'd love to get them right now

The Source I got was NOT Oklahoma but NEBRASKA. I also heard, LSU was going to accommodated us with pay plus incentives, such as more tickets. Bertman does not want to lose this game. He would have to go out and find another team.

Great VICTORY this past weekend. Talk about not noticing the rain with such a lopsided VICTORY.

The biggest drawback in my mind would be the stuff we'd have to hear from lsu fans. They'd all say we chickened out! LOL

Hey if Bertman will pay then we should play and focus on keeping our boys safe and healthy!

Let's be honest here...I don't think we could give LSU that much of a game, as in within 20 points or so. I'm sure we'd hear a lot from LSU fans after that, which would probably be worse.

With that being said, I think we could give Oklahoma or Nebraska a better game. So, why not take the higher pay for a game we have a better chance at?

If we signed an agreement, we should live up to it. That's the problem with the world today. Everyone finds a better deal after they agree to something and then want out of it. We don't need to be the T.O. of college football teams.

Latex got out of their 2006 game at Penn St. I believe they still play Clemson and California plus their WAC sked. Whatever, adding Texas A&M shouldn't be a problem as they can play 13 games next year due to a visit to Hawaii.

    Let's go up to Nebraska!

also, will there be a 12th game in 2006?
This comes from a good source for the non conference games and the order we play them.......

    LSU-away
    Houston-away
    Ohio-home
    Texas A&M-away
    Eastern Michigan-home
