Ashley Brignac has earned her second weekly honor in as many days as she was named LSWA Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday.
Brignac threw two complete game shutouts at the Cowgirl Classic last weekend, including a no-hitter against the host McNeese State Cowgirls on Saturday.
Brignac blanked the Cowgirls in a 4-0 UL win, striking out seven while allowing just three base runners.
The junior right-hander then turned around and tied a career high with 16 strikeouts against Houston Baptist in another shutout win.

In addition to the individual award, both Top 25 polls were released on Tuesday, with the Cajuns still firmly holding on to a spot in both. For a look at the complete polls, click the links above.
