I don't know why you guys are so hard on Monroe. I was up there all day yesterday, and the people were nothing but friendly. Several even complimented me on what a "purty mouth" I have.

We should all be grateful to have Parrott covering the Cajuns. That lady Tabby from the Star is a joke. She referred to us only as Lafayette throughout her entire article, and her writing is about on level with a high school freshman.

Some of her facts were even incorrect. She states that our 61 points was the lowest since the beginning of our streak when we just scored 58 on Thursday night against Denver. She also goes on to say that we won the West Division out right last season. Weren't we like a 7 or 8 seed in last year's tournament?

You can polish it all day long Tabby. Monroe is still a turd.

ULM was 2 and 13 in conference coming into the game. Their best inside player did not play on his senior night due to academic difficulties. We all wish Coach Lee well at ULM but did you guys know they have only 2 assistant coaches when the NCAA allows you to have three. They are severely resource constrained. In such a situation, it is understandable they have trouble drawing interest to their program. Therefore the attendance was not a surprise. I will say that campus looks nicer than I remembered from the last time I was there.

Had we won the West last year, we likely would not have changed coaches. I wonder if there was a typo in that part of the story. Only explanation I can find for writing something like that.

Turb, this isn't about SID's or even fan message boards but an alleged professional journalist and a nationally owned newspaper. While our newspaper refers to them as they request their local rag comes across as if it was run by the same clowns that created the name violation website. Its a joke.
