Bullpen was NAILS again today. Sienna got a bunch of hits, but the guys buckled down when they got themselves into jams and pitched their way out of it, only giving up 1 run.
Man, so we're 4-3 right now, and while we've won 2 straight games, We just have a feel of being in a slump still. The hitting and baserunning has been extremely rough and needs to be turned around in a hurry if we're gonna realize our potential. The only real positive in all of this is that outside of our pitching (Geith and Cook excluded), we have been playing some pretty bad baseball and we still have a winning record. We need to go out tomorrow and smash Siena because we desperately need a real feel good win.
Time for a team meeting. Lol

What was our hit total today? It sounded like 5 runs on 2 or 3 hits????

Given our offensive woes, I think we are lucky to be 4-3. If we can continue to find ways to win despite these tee-ball offensive outputs we will be fine once everything comes together.
G-Font is nails. The guy just knows how to hit, all 5' 7" of him. I'll surely miss his bat next year.
Another MAJOR concern is our base running, or lack there of. What happened early in the game when our guy (can't remember who was on base) on first when full steam into second base with one of our players still standing on the bag at second? Obviously someone missed a sign???
