in his postgame interview with Jay, Coach mentioned that some things were working and this may not have been our last home game this year?? Whats up? Who's got the scoop?

If the cajuns lose in the finals of the SBT, and FAU wins the tourney, the Cajuns would get an automatic bid to the NIT.
I'm looking for us to dance.
Hot Springs awaits our annoyances.
Guys remember there are two other tourneys. College Insider and PTI. Those tourneys base who they pick solely on attendance. So they will have no problem dropping a first and second round game in Lafayette, b/c we will sell seats. When u are a mid major and u are putting 8K in your arena on a week night bs. Denver, people take notice.

Chop, that is not correct. FAU gets an automatic bid to the NIT (if they don't win the conference tournament or get an at large bid to the NCAA tourney, which they won't). Each league declares its regular season champion. If that team doesn't go to the NCAA tournament, they get an automatic bid to the NIT. Thus FAU is the only possibility of an auto bid to the NIT from the Sun Belt, because they are the regular season champions.
I was coming on here to ask what Marlin was talking about as well. Jay mentioned something about the seniors' last home game, and Bob Marlin said, "I don't know. Some things may be in the works. We may have one more home game." Jay, any idea what he was talking about? That quote was best I can remember it.
The only thing he could be referring to was the NIT. I'm pretty sure they contact potential schools to determine if their facility may be available for a first round game. They know we can fill the dome, so all we have to do is continue winning.
Those NIT games in Blackham were awesome.
