Louisiana strives for sixth straight conference win.

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns gave their fans ample reason to cheer on Thursday when they dispatched Sun Belt Conference rival Western Kentucky 91-76 at the Cajundome.

They'll offer another opportunity tonight at 7:05 p.m. when Middle Tennessee hits the floor, and UL coach Robert Lee wants to not only see more of the same from his 11-7, 5-1 team but also more fans, period.

While Thursday's crowd was a boisterous one, the Dome was half-full with just over 5,000 in attendance. That prompted Lee to issue a challenge for each of those in the stands to get one more to come with them for the Middle Tennessee contest.

If that happens, then the Cajundome will get closer to its 11,550 capacity and the visitors might not be able to hear themselves think, let alone call plays.

"I feel this place is a special place," said Lee, who led his team in the UL fight song in front of a gleeful student section on Thursday. "And I think this program can go to a level not seen before here.

"I want to make this arena one of the toughest places to play in America, so we'd like as much support as possible and we'll continue to earn that support."

Whoever shows up will see a Cajun team that is on a roll.
