Because it's been 5 games and you are overreacting. Did you think we were pitiful when we started off 14-14 last season? I don't get why the most outspoken people are always the least informed. I agree we will be fine....but right now...this team is playing pitiful baseball. You can only use the "it's baseball" excuse so much, until it just might be time to say this team isn't good enough. You know and I know this team is a helluva lot better than SEMO and Nichols. But they sure as hell aren't playing like it. You know how we are playing.....pitifully. When you don't execute...your playing pitifully. When your pitchers aren't getting first pitch strikes and getting behind hitters....your pitching pitifully. When a running team can't correctly steal bases....your running the bases pitifully. Sorry you got all hurt over hearing someone say one negative thing about this team...after these first 5 games this team DESERVES to have some negative things said about them. Did I single out any single players and say they aren't good athletes?

To answer your question...when we were 14-14 I thought that team wasn't very good. I was proved wrong....and I ate crow for that. I didn't single out any of these players and say they were pitiful. The way they are playing...sure looks pitiful to me. We know how good this team can be....do you think they are playing to their full potential? Pretty, please, with a cherry on top...next time you decide to call someone out...get the semantics correct so you don't look so foolish.

We haven't pitched poorly outside of 3 guys, we've gotten some hits but not at the right time. We're running the bases poorly and not getting timely hits but they don't look pitiful.
