    Bottom of 9th

Lead off hitter gets a single

2nd batter attempts a sac bunt but we try to get the lead runner and the runner was called safe at 2nd.

Now 2 on with 0 outs.

Next Nicholls St. hitter grounds to 1b and we get lead runner at 2nd.

Nicholls St. wins on sac fly.

Yeah can't blame this one on pitching performance. Defense wasn't sharp and bats just aren't there right now.

Hopefully we are getting the slump done with at the start of the season.

Looks like we're in for a repeat of last year. Hopefully they come around a little bit earlier this time around.

This team's offense is disturbingly BAD.

This team's base running is disturbingly BAD.

    Pitching is there.

Time to put it all together.

    The End.

Wow this team looks pitiful. No other way to put it.

We're hitting .304 or were coming into the game. Baserunning and clutch hits are what's hurting us. We'll be fine as long as we pitch.

What exactly made everyone so encouraged going into this season? This is not a dig, just asking. There's not much other than the pitching that they seem to do well.

We've scored a total of 14 runs in 5 games. 2.8 runs per game isn't going to win many games with no Zack Osbourn to speak of.

.304 doesn't do any good when you aren't clutch. Besides, Greg, Ryan, and T-fred are the only ones really do anything at the plate, thus inflating our team BA.

Overall, our offense is bad and not clutch outside of Greg.

Tony will fix this and its still very early, but it just hurts when you struggle/lose against teams like Nichols.
