My daughter played until college and I've been to MANY college softball games.
IMO, most injuries in baseball, softball, and even basketball could easily be avoided if a strict out of season conditioning program was followed 100%.
From what I've been told by someone close to the program was that Donna was a cancer to the team and had a falling out with the coaching staff.

I heard Donna had a bit too much of a "me" attitude for the team and in the end she decided to transfer "for personal reasons" (aka quit)
No denying she was a great player and I certainly wish her well, it's unfortunate she couldn't finish out her career as a Ragin Cajun
Donna has started out well. Her lose was to our old nemesis - U Mich. Beat her with big bats - as they have done to us. I think she lost to Mich last year. They have big girls in the farm country.
