Complete list of 2005 verbal commitments
Scout.com is reporting that Tyrell Fenroy committed to the cajuns last night. Does anyone have any other info. about this. This last year he rushed for over 2000 yards and 38 TD's. Nice pickup if true.

I've seen his name on rivals, but have not really heard anything about his ability, anyone have the scoop on this kid?
Geaux Cajuns
I just read somemore on him and he is rated as a top 20 players in LA. Looks like a real steal.
Tyrell Fenroy (RB, 5'11", 180), ST Charles. Fenroy is a player that I might move up before the start of the 2005 school year. He is probably the top punt and kick return player in the state.
that is what dandy dons recruiting page has to say about him and thats an LSU friendly page so if it comes out that he has verballed to us his ranking might drop lol
why don't we just get every rb that's listed and then we hope to get the one you guys like, a little secret,"""" YOU CANNOT GET EVERY THING OUT THERE.""""""
Only thing I can find out about his is that he was #23 on the Rivals to preseason top 30 list in Louisiana.
It's great to see that we picked up 2 RB's for this class and both have great abilities. I think we'll be set in the future with the RB's and hopefully a few more big guys up front.
RB Tyrell Fenroy, St. Charles, 5-9, 190:
All-State selection who finished with 2,152 yards on 226 carries and scored 39 touchdowns rushing.
Louisiana leads over Louisiana Tech, Central Michigan and Arkansas State.
I hope to see him come here instead of going to LA. Tech they already have a running back in Moats, but we'll have to wait and see where he decides to go.
Moats is going to the NFL. And LA Tech yesterday got a committment from Patrick Jackson, a three star running back from West St. John. If scout.com is correct Fenroy has already committed to us but i guess will have to wait and see.
Complete list of 2005 verbal commitments One of the state's most prolific running backs, Tyrell Fenroy of St. Charles Catholic, has become the University of Louisiana's 22nd commitment to the 2005 recruiting class.
The 5-foot-9, 190-pound Fenroy, Louisiana's second-leading prep scorer during the 2004 regular season, gave Ragin' Cajun head coach Rickey Bustle a verbal pledge Monday after taking a visit two weeks ago.
Fenroy said Monday that it was UL's academic program that swayed him more than the football opportunities.
"What they had to offer academically was the biggest thing," he said. "I want to go into computers, and I liked what they had."
But Fenroy also knows that the Cajuns run a lot of one-back sets and the tailback gets more than his share of carries.
"I won't have a problem with what they do offensively," he said. "We've been running an I-formation and one-back the whole time I was in high school."
Fenroy was the Most Valuable Player in District 10-3A each of the last two seasons and earned Class 3A All-State honors as a senior when he rushed for 1,580 yards on 166 carries in the regular season. That total ranked ninth in the state among all five classifications.
He also rushed for 32 touchdowns in the 10-game regular season and had 34 total scores, and his 206 points in 10 games was second among all state players.
Including the playoffs, he rushed for over 2,100 yards and scored 44 touchdowns as a senior.

RB Tyrell Fenroy: 4.35 in the 40. That is some serious speed
4.35 = not gonna catch him once he breaks free!
Fenroy is bigger and faster than Wallace. I would love to have them both but Fenroy might end up being the better college player. 4.35, that’s fast for Miami U.
I don't have any idea which player Coach Bustle had higher on his "list"; but in any case, "one in hand is better than 2 in the bush". Didn't see Fenroy with regard to "ratings". Is he a 2-star, or 3-star recruit? Rivals had Wallace as a solid 3-star player.
Shof
That is great speed, but I like the fact that he's not 5'7" 170 like the rest of our RBs. Wallace and Fenroy would be a great 1-2 Cajun punch.
