Thread: Path becoming a reality

  1. Default Path becoming a reality

A dream for many - a safe, scenic bicycle and jogging path through downtown Lafayette - is currently under construction.

"It will be for use by students, faculty and the community," said Bill Crist, with the University of Lafayette.

Come on William Johnson you are a victim of bad marketing -that is a given- but you should be able to overcome.

    No excuse.

ps Great idea and concept though. With the winding nature of the trail, it should look good too.

Maybe he spent some time at the Universities Architecture website (ullcollegeofthearts.com/cdw). You will be ULL'ed to death there.

Btw the projects on the web site look great. Are any others like Johnston St going to happen?

It is a great idea - I hope they will be able to connect the main campus to it without having to use the current "bike lane" on Johnston Street. I used to ride my bike a lot but don't want to commit suicide in the center of Lafayette. I have always felt there should be bikeways/walkways around campus to promote getting away from automobile traffic.

    Maybe we are progressing.
