The debate over the decriminalization of marijuana is about to heat up. A grassroots organization, called "Legalize Louisiana" has organized a pro-pot march in Lafayette for next month.
"The aim is that we will have safe and free access for cannabis for any medical patient or recreational user who wants it, needs it," said Dave Lucito with Legalize Louisiana.
The group has set up a facebook page to help spread the word about their pro-pot walk, which will take place March 2nd. It starts in Girard Park and ends at the Lafayette Parish Courthouse.
