My guess is the university didn't want egg on their face if the truth came out so somehow the film was canned

Can we get a Lights Out in the Cajun Dome?

boy you are right about that. I thought Maggard was better than that. Is Marlin's buy out so large the university can't afford it. Two NCAA appearances in 14 years??? Is that the standard?

The Blackham crowd is slowly dying off. You had to be there to fully understand it.

To think the Marty or Evans days were on par with Blackham is a myth perpetrated by many who didn’t experience Blackham. But it’s the measuring stick many here use for Marlin.

The program has been sliding since moving to the dome and the birth of ESPN. UL now has a coach here by circumstance overseeing the final demise of MBB falling on par with other non revenue sports nobody cares about. But it will never be free entry like the other sports.

Unless someone has a colon full of cash, that’s where MBB is.

For starters, lining up and running to the bleachers as students to get in was a thing.

Went to a few games in last year of Bo years, was not a student, friend got us in.

Student at UL from death penalty to ‘79. Only missed 2 games from program return thru 91. Marriage and flu.

Saw all the historical moments in Blackham during my time after death penalty except Glen Duhon getting run in 1980. From AA’s dunk fest to Dion Brown’s corner jumper to Mr Foreman passing away courtside, saw it all.

Holding up newspapers while the other team's line up was introduced then wadding it up and throwing it in the air was such a great memory.
