Thread: O-line

    UL Football O-line

I have again tapped my reliable source and have found out some information about one of the new lineman that have just arrived on campus. His name is Lanier Coleman now this guy is massive I mean like can go anywhere in the country with his size. I kinda snooped on the internet and found out about a guy who went to Brother Martin with the same name, but he was a wrestler and he was pretty good by the stats that they were given he was also in the 275 pound weight class which looked about right. I have not found him on any signee list or any recruiting anything. This guy I swear is 6'5 275 of solid muscle, he looks like he could weigh about 315 because he's just so solid looking. Not sure if he plays O-line or D, but let me tell you if he plays D-line, just one word WOW. Again size means nothing and I understand this but you all keep saying where is the beef this guy is a start, a very good start.

PS: if anyone else can find him on a recruiting list somewhere tell me because if not this guy has to be a walk on from somewhere.

If this is true, man this will make my day. Now lets hope he plays as big as he is listed.

If we could get him sounds like it would be a steal with his size. I know some of the big schools recruit players on size even if they don't have all the skills for a lineman. I hope we can get him.

Is this Lanier Coleman of Brother Martin?

I wonder if anyone told him Louisiana used to be a national powerhouse in wrestling.

Hope that is true. If so, that is a good sign for the Cajuns, even if he is from BroMart! LOL Sorry Crusader fans, just had to do that! ;>) My son's HS FB team (Fontainebleau) played a tough game vs. Brother Martin in the playoffs at Tad Gormley. It was a very exciting OT game which could've gone either way. The Martin fans I saw before & after the game had a lot of class and seemed like a good group. I'm glad to see the Cajuns get a commitment from FHS tight end Matt Ulm. I was hoping we might be able to land RB Christian Ducre as well. When he got hurt on the 2nd half opening kickoff of that playoff game, the Bulldog (FHS) offense seemed to have a much more difficult time moving the ball on the Crusaders.

Yes, thats the kid, but he's way bigger now, take that and double it, and thats the Coleman kid, and its not that we are trying to get him, he's there already so if he pans out this would be good. He's a wrestler so he knows a thing or two about pushing guys around I'm anxious to see how he does in the spring.

I'm exciting about the kid just from listening to people, I can't wait to see him in action to see how big he is.
