I can remember some spring games when Mitchell...and then again when Jake was playing...that we might have had 400 or so. But that would be the absolute most I can ever remember.

Hey guys, my name's David and I'm a junior petroleum engineering major at UL. I saw the other thread on here about the outrageous crawfish prices in Lafayette and thought that I should let you know about the great event our department is having on April 9. The UL Department of Petroleum Engineering is hosting our 10th Annual Industry Appreciation Crawfish Boil on Saturday, April 9 2011, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Girard Park. Advance ticket prices are $20.00, $25.00 at the door, and each ticket covers one 5-6 pound tray of crawfish, potatoes, corn, and drinks (soda and beer!). We invite and encourage everyone to try attending this wonderful event and we will also have a fun jump for the kids so bring the whole family. It is also our understanding that the spring football game will be held on April 9 at 5:00 PM. What better way to enjoy a Saturday in Lafayette than to eat crawfish, drink beer, and watch CAJUNS football!!
Some of you may or may not know that our department and UL Society of Petroleum Engineers chapter had been recognized as the "2010 Most Outstanding SPE chapter in North America" by SPE International. We were presented with this highly distinguished award while attending the annual SPE International Technical Conference held last fall in Florence, Italy and it is our second time winning the award in the last 4 years. By attending our crawfish boil fundraiser you can help us continue our program's amazing success. All proceeds from this event will help benefit our Petroleum Department at UL.
If anyone is interested in purchasing tickets you can email me at dmp8741@louisiana.edu or send me a pm. You can also check out our facebook page by searching "UL Petroleum Engineering Crawfish Boil" for more information. Thanks to all for your consideration.
GEAUX CAJUNS!!
you should move it to cajun field
That would be the best bet because they are wanting everyone to go out and tailgate.
Too tempting!
Believe me I wish we could but we have already planned to have the large pavillion in Girard Park before we knew about the spring game. Its where we've always held our crawfish boil in the past. I hope that this doesn't turn many of you away and for those who aren't planning on tailgating that day I hope that you please still consider stopping by to eat some delicious crawfish and supporting the UL petroleum department. The spring game starts at 5:00 PM and our crawfish boil is from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, so I'm planning on heading out to Cajun Field as soon as possibe myself!
This is like Softball and Baseball, which should I attend on the same day. The tailgating will last all day and this may hurt the crawfish outing.
Mark me down for a tray.
