oh gotta share this, maybe it will lighten the mood. We went to play softball up at this country school the other day. You know the kind, everybody on the team had the same last name. And i swear, if i am lying i am crying and i aint shed a tear, the had pigsfeet in their concession stand. At a Ballgame

The reality of IN HUD WE TRUST is 5 months from today they will have played OK St. Lets talk then ALOT of HYPE which is good but JUST WIN BABY. Lets talk after HUD goes head up with Mike Gundy and Mike Stoops 1st game and last game smashed between 8 Sun Belt games a lower level MAC team Kent St and dont forget about Nicholls St 1st home game somebody needs to tell HUD it aint automatic ? _

Johnboy, don't go to a youth sporting event in New Orleans... the playground league concession stands not only have pigs feet, they have pickled pig lips.

I know there was a mention of having a band before the game but does anyone know which band? I remember growing up that there was always a pretty good band before each game and a lot more people around the band stand. It seems the last few years the quality has dropped. Then again, I don't recall there being as many people tailgating back then as there are now.

I wonder if UL has thought about some kind of promotion to try and sell out the first home game (or any game for that matter). Maybe a couple of local businesses chip in with some kind of freebie. Before anyone jumps all over me this is just a question/idea and I don't think we could sell out the first home game. But IF we did that would create quite a buzz.

The band is going to be Mike & The Rockets, getting started at 3 pm.
