One more recruiting question

I have a final recruiting question before this UL recruiting class is put to bed. Could someone point out who on paper (which is how all this stuff is done anyway) had a better recruiting year at the RB position than UL?

I haven't really compared but I would say that in the Sunbelt we dominated at the RB position. On paper of course, given that Griffin gets his grades in order. Even if he doesn't, we still have quite the stable of very good looking guys at RB.

Oh NO---Please don't even think that UL recruited a better running back than an LSU signee from Acadiana High School---and don't give me that All-American or Mr. Football of the State of Mississippi--First you tell us that our offensive line men are not better and now the running backs!!!! Rival.com will rank each team at each position and UL was 1st in the SBC and 40th in the nation I believe at the RB position.

I'm simply saying I want to see someone else with a team of horses like that in one class this year. Pretty nice haul IMO. Not going to bother myself with chasing everybody else's class. I would like anybody to show me USC, OU, anybody. It's like taking the laddle & scooping into the seafood gumbo & coming up with all the shrimp, oysters, & crab meat.

Not right now, but a couple of them are soon to be.

Jackson, the least talked about of our new signees.

Think back a few years when we had two very nice signees at running back. The one that got most of the talk because of his ability and potential, wound up quitting football. The other, he only leads the Sun Belt (and UL) in alltime rushing yards.

Yes, let's not forget about Mr. Jackson.

Maybe Harris as well. May end up playing LB.

As far as that goes, Griffin could be a stud at LB. As far as Carter goes, I think he could end up playing any number of positions. I think he could be the fastes guy UL has had since Clarence Verdin, maybe faster? Yous guys are gonna have to school me on this Jackson guy. Did I miss something? Sorry if I forgot one.

Overall though, you guys are making my point for me. THese guys are atheletic enough to play any number of positions. These are things guys are blessed with, real talent, & give a coaching staff options they otherwise wouldn't have.
