Thread: Rivals vs Scout

    UL Football Rivals vs Scout

I was wondering what you guys consider the main differences between Scout and Rivals. I noticed on Rivals they have Louisiana's recruiting class ranked at #4 and they have several more players rated at 3 stars vs Scout's rating. They also have some players rated as 2 stars that Scout has 3 stars.

I thought Rival's website was well done but today was the first time I surfed Rivals.com. I like Scout as well but I was wondering what you thought. To me the more opinions the better but I was struck by the rating differences not that I put too much stock in the starwars as Fenroy was rated a 2 stars and he was a 4 star running back in my mind.

Even so, there is a marked difference in their rating systems. Rivals rate WKU as the best Sunbelt recruiting class which may be a little hard to believe. One thing I am absolutely sure of is Hud has brought a great deal of energy and interest to our program and he's done it fast. Man next year could be fabulous. I was going to say sweet but the word seems to be overused on this board.

Hope someone has a more experienced opinion than I on this subject.

On Paper, they do have the best class. More 3 star rated players than anybody by a decent margin no matter what service you go by.

Nationally speaking, I'd venture to say that Rivals is the most popular. Although I don't currently have a membership to either, I've been a member of both in the past. From an overall standpoint, my preference is Rivals. From a UL perspective, I prefer Scout. For LSU coverage, it's a push in my opinion. Congrats to UL for hauling in one heck of a class!
