2011 UL baseball squad conducted its first preseason team workout Friday!!

_ Dude, I love baseball. But I'm up to my ears with basketball and football recruiting. Others in the media have other priorities right now, too. Hope to have some kind of baseball update on Monday. _

Well, thanks to you and Cajun-T and BOP, I have been spending waaay toooo much time surfing and not working!!!! This is usually reserved for March Madness.

Let's plan for a media day several hours before the opening day of practice at the Tigue in 2012!! We can have the AD, coaches and a select group of players meet with the media and then stay and watch practice! The practice could be exclusive for the media, students, alumni, admin, faculty, players families and we can keep it separated from the fan day event!! This could impact positively impact press coverage and school support!

There were two releases on baseball from the SID office last week. One concerning SBC tournament tickets on sale, the other promoting Fan Day at the Tigue.

The UL SID office has two full time employees. Maybe we can cut them a little slack here.

Few recognize the significance of the SID and his assistants. I hope with increasing resources some thought is given to helping the SID. There is only so much that part-time student assistants can do.
