They beat LSWHO by 20. Makes our win a little sweeter.
Yawn... another win... yawn... easy cheesy... automatic... nothin to it.
More encouraging then the win for me is the way the team is starting to play together. I think you can really see a chemistry starting to develop.
Also, they still get confused at times, but it appears that their familiarity and comfort with the offense is increasing as well.
Bureau made a couple of bad decisions on a charge and a pass late in the game. However he did hit two free throws. Brown was the guy struggling at the line. Bureau also hit a big three when UNT was making a run. Finally, he had his best game as a Cajun on the glass with 10 boards. In fact, Travis had a double double. If he plays like that consistently, the Cajuns can play with anyone in the league. In fact all three seniors played well. Of the young guys, Javan Mitchell was the real key. There has been another thread about Andrews having a good game but Mitchell has been inconsistent to date so to see him play well is encouraging. He had a career high in points with 13 and rebounds with 7. It was critical he play well due to Farrington and Wallace being out. We were also hurting with Gary and Thomas in foul trouble the whole game.
I CANT BELIEVE I HAD TO MISS THIS GAME!!!

Inconsistent? Mitchell has been non-existent. He was player of the game tonight. On the defensive and offensive end

7 players in Double figures. Made free throws(except Josh Brown), kept turnovers down. ran the offense and made plays. Ramone Andrews played an awesome game. No turnovers in 31 minutes and played great defense. It was a really fun game to watch. As usual the referees stunk. These guys have no concept of the game. This team is playing much better.
Caught the second half of the game on Ragin Station. Enjoyed it enough I decided Im going to drive the 70 miles to Mobile Sunday to catch the game. Probably be my only chance this year to see them live.
