In Softball and Baseball we are widely known as Louisiana. Thats because we beat wholesale amounts of ass and have garnered that respect. Football will get their too. Basketball should already have it.

Eric Sorenson definitely respects us. Its not any sign of disrespect when he makes pepper comments or anything like that. He posted a few times about us last season and especially on Oz all very positive. Typically one of the better sites for baseball news at least in the blog form

I agree. I think he was just trying to by funny with the "pepper season" stuff. I seriously don't think he knows that we (as fans) don't like the pepper. It was his attempt to play off of our mascot, and the baseball season since peppers have a picking "season".

Any and all consideration and mention in the press is positive! I always say it's not where you start but where you end that matters.
Coach Robe and his staff has always done a good job recruiting in spite of the lack of facilities and the players they get always leave the program better. They develop kids! With new facilites UL can be a consistent top 20 program That's a fact. Geaux cajuns!

Well, sadly even our new football coach is ignorant when it comes to cajun cooking and the use of peppers, so let's cut this guy a little slack.
