We were in the student section behind the opponent's bench, we asked his player host who he was and he said Aucoin and my friend (seehard) remembered that Aucoin was committed to Tulsa so we just yelled to him that Tulsa sucks and UL was a better fit for him. He laughed pretty hard at us and pointed back. He got a pretty good kick out of it.
We know we probably had very little to do with it, we just think it's funny/awesome that he switched.![]()
I just wish we could get that many people in the dome on a regular basis, I recognize the same people in the student section each game. I'd like to see some more fresh faces though. COME TO THE GAME ON THURSDAY.
JP, help me out. I see you have Aucoin enrolling in class at UL this semester. My question is, How is that possible 2 weeks into the semester? It seems like he will be a bit behind on his classes. Is he a good student where that may not affect him much or will he be part time? Just curious.
It's possible that he could have enrolled in a couple of half semester courses for the second half so that he would be eligible for spring practice... I don't know the rules, just a thought.
I had 3 or so 1/2 semester classes in my undergraduate curriculum.
Gentlemen, don't be mistaken. This is an outstanding turn of events. This guy is going to be a very good DB. I'm extremely happy about this particular recruit.

5'9" 175 LB, sounds like another former great Cajun DB......#9 in your playbook, #1 in your hearts.......before your time JP, but Damon Mason had similar stature. If he is half as good as Mr. Mason and plays with 1/2 the heart of Mr. Mason, you are looking a pretty good one.
