Yes Jenkins did play quite a bit this past season. He played at FB mainly in blocking situtations.

well i can promise u for as long as i have been knowing this guy he will loose the 30 lbs or more that he has to and hold the fort down . jerry wont have to worry about being sacked. this guy has never been on a loosing football team from jr high through his juco years. it just started once he got here . i can expect him to be at the top of his game. he will have it all under control by the spring . fans i strongly believe u guys should jump on the bandwagon cause if you dont u will wish u had of

the guys have seniors who have been there and knows how to get the job done. i think that our true senior leaders will step up and respond to the challange and have not only our young leaders but players step and be leaders for years to come. just have to get the players and fans to get out of the losing spirit.

no one is in the losing spirit we are just talking about lack of depth in certain positions. hopefully bustle recruits and gets a few lucky catches on some players that can step up .

But honestly, Babb and the D unit needs to start putting up some more wins.(8-15)

Dont forget they got that QB transfer from Northwestern. He is supposed to be a stud athlete. He is much like desormeaux in the sense that he will probably see action in other places on the field. QB depth shouldnt be a problem. Also, dont be surprised if wallace does sign his letter of intent, he may be the Cajun running back for next season if he has a good summer. Newman is a stud! He will be starting next year and you will be impressed with him. He was a true freshman and made freshman mistakes, but if you were watching the same games that I was last year, he also lead the team in pancakes. He was destroying lineman last year. He will have a great year.

Gotta agree with you, Jesse is one of my 2 favorite linemen. He will only get better.

    UL 1984, 1999 . . . .

With him and Cox playing the tackle spots they will be in good shape for a few years.

I think you mean Idaho State,I just looked on their website and there is a big buzz about Luke's transfer, all I did was go to google and I typed in Idaho State, and his headline was the first thing that popped up. Luke is a great guy with good work ethic I wish him all the best at Idaho State, which from what I read don't have that bad of a program. I just read they had 20 people on their all conference team last season, thats pretty good.
