    Default Question for Johnboy 4713

John I have a friend who lives in the Madison,Miss area and he was telling me that Tobias Singleton was the best WR in the state. How does Deshaun stacked up against Singleton? Just curious?

Deshaun had 1200yds receiving, Tobias had 750 or so. Deshaun played one year. If he had played with GC Billups for 3 years, would be a top five in the nation WR. Has all the tools, attacks the ball, catches it with his hands, and if Guy throws the fade to the corner of the endzone, which the ball will be spot on by the way, its a TD. Shaun just needs some coaching.

Sounds like all we need now is a good wr coach to take him to the next level!

it sounds like desean will redshirt b/c of his lack of experience.

Being as close as I am to deshaun, a redshirt wouldnt kill him.

The thing about Tobias, he is a freak, no doubt about that. Top WR in the state? Thats debatable. There are so many good WR in our state. Brassell at South Panola. Jordan Taylor at Lake Cormorant. Joe Morrow at ocean springs. Devin Fossleman at Wilkinson County. Donte Moncrief at Raleigh. Now you see why shaun slipped through the cracks. Every kid I mentioned is a D1 WR. Deshaun will be as good as he wants to be. Only one other WR on this list has Shauns height and only one other put up the numbers that Shaun did. He is a steal, but he would have been for any school. Lucky for us UL fans, there were so many good WR.

These are Shauns stats for this year. reason i post them is this, at first, none of us knew what we had in Shaun. he was a 2 guard playing WR. As the season went on, he learned how to run routes and how to be a WR playing WR. The game against Pearl in the playoffs, Guy and Shaun toyed with them
