Tell me that I am going to be an OL and I am an athlete that plays b-ball and want to play that--I go to the school that lets me play that position--Oh and I guess he will wind up at OL for Tulane---this is just my hunch how it came down----no se!!!!

Looks like Hudspeth's fence is going to have to start at home once he gets a full year to recruit the Acadiana area. Tatford, Scofield and Eugene represent the type of the players the Cajuns need to entice to remain at home and help in their efforts to build a Sun Belt championship-caliber program.

Takes a while to change preception in your own back yard. Scofield and Tatford were done before Hud took the job, so that was a much tougher task. Micah Eugene wasn't coming here if he was eligible, in fact he is not. I wish Micah and Hollier both the best of luck as well.

Good luck to Evan. But don't blame the staff. Tatford had an offer from UL long ago. He kept waiting to see if he could get a better offer. Fact is he didn't and the new staff felt he fit better at OL than TE so now he has to settle for tulane and the excitement that is the Bob Toledo regime (for however much longer it lasts).

CajunT said yesterday that Bakari is holding out for any BCS school offer which may leave him without a spot with the cajuns... but I believe he still is visiting this weekend.

Tulane is recruiting quite well. I do not think Toledo is much of a coach, but he is putting together a solid class.

Over the years we have won very few head to head recruiting battles with Tulane, lets hope Hud can change that.
