Ever since Kevis went down not much has been said of his recovery or if he will be able to play again. It was a pretty bad looking injury, but if he can return with Spikes and all, the running game will be in good hands.

    Anyone hear anything?

    Thanks

Coach Hudspeth told me the other day that he was waiting on some results from the doctors on various players hurt last fall. Wrote back in fall that Streeter underwent successful surgery. Coaches were optimistic he would return to the field next fall. Been told Streeter is still doing rehab.

One of the gnarliest injuries I've ever seen. Hope he can make it back.

From a source, he is rehabbing well, no crutches. Don't know particulars or if he will be able to play this season but it's good news.

I just want the kid to recover to the point that he is functionally where he was pre-injury. With what I saw his leg do, I was concerned that he would not have that chance. Jay mentioned that he was supposed to have surgery in Denton the night of the injury due to lack of blood flow in the leg before it came back and they were able to get him back to Lafayette. His health for the rest of his life is of top priority. Whether he plays this year or not bothers me none. If he is able to come back, I really wonder how close to electric self he could be after the extensive rehab and what longterm effect the injury would have.
