This is what coaches are criticized for all the time in recruiting. They are judged on decisions they made years back when analyzing kids and their potential and basing their judgements on film from high school before they've played a down on the collegiate level. I often feel that its unfair to judge a staff when they passed on Ferroux or Leonard because of a Desormeaux, Babb or Hundley. Bottom line is that this staff will be held accountable by everyone on this board and others to win and make the right decisions. If the coaches believe that Billups is the man to bring in from the high school ranks, I'm fine with that as I trust their judgement. If they don't, people need to stop reacting and making decisions with their heart and trust that the coaches made the right decision. Every year, every program makes decisions that they would do differently if given a second chance. That is the nature of recruiting and that's why lots of evaluation and time is needed to make those decisions. This staff has not been given that time to make those decisions so I would suggest some objectivity in the fan's assessment of their performance.
