    LOL...
Thats nearly a 30 yard difference in one sentence... In the endzone to inside the 20?

Effrem Reed and Joe Price are options. Joe Price will likely be moved around but could play RB if needed. They can both be redshirted if necessary and they have the rep as being playmakers. We need that more than anything.

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if our opponents starting field position from kickoffs was between the 40 and 50. So you could add 10 more yards and we would still have an improvement (I am expecting better tackling).

Been told DT Christian Ringo (Jackson, Miss.) and DE Chris Prater (Starkville, Miss.) committed today.

Cajuns now have 15 public pledges.

Ringo appears to be a pretty solid athlete that we've taken from Memphis. I can't find anything on Prater or Sean Thomas. They are not in the Scout.com database.

    Thanks for the info, JP.

    From NewOrleans.com:
Defensive back Sean Thomas (5'10, 178) and tight end Brandon Lain (6'4, 240) are getting attention as well. Prairie View is on Lain. Utah State, ULM and Northern Illinois are on Thomas.

Chris Prater 6'5" 230 DE Starkville MS

But Griffin picked up his first scholarship offer this week from Louisiana.

UL is coached by former Mississippi State receivers coach Mark Hudspeth. Griffin took an official visit there this weekend.

"It looks like that may be a real possibility for him," said South Panola coach Lance Pogue. "They have done some evaluation with his school work and everything and they are looking at it very hard. He's got a shot (at qualifying). He is excited about the opportunity. This has kinda popped up in the last few days and it has him a little perked up."

Griffin rushed for 2,670 yards and scored 40 touchdowns (37 on the ground) this season for South Panola, which finished 15-0 and won the Class 6A state championship. Griffin was named to the second team offense of the MaxPreps All-America team after helping lead South Panola to the No. 1 spot in several national rankings.

Griffin would be a huge get. Might be a sign and place guy, but i hear he is working hard to get eligible. Power back that runs hard on every play
