I love Montrell's quote when given the context that we decided not to offer him. Funny stuff.

Thanks for the article. This is sort of non-recruiting related, but does anyone have any Kevis Streeter updates?

Speaking to a Tech alum the other day, and I had hoped we would back off of Conner. The running backs we already have are very very strong. The Carter kid, bring him in, thats 4 possibly five years we get him. Whereas Conner, he would have to share time with Spikes and Walker. I don't think running back is an area of tremendous need. Especially if Streeter can make it back to the field. I like the idea of taking in a highly touted freshamn like Carter.

I sure think we could use a kick returner.

Carter is being recruited primarily as receiver and kick returner.

My mistake...still I think running back is not an area of need for us this year.

RB is always an area of tremendous need. The two players you mentioned are small and one has not proven he is a D1 RB yet. If Streeter cannot make it back fully, we will have a lot of playing time to offer. Conner looks like he will not be the guy, but we could use another playmaker back there.

From the cajunredzone we have one running back coming in for a visit next weekend, Effrem Reed. Am I missing any others?

and a kicker that can put the ball in the end zone or close to the end zone (at least inside the 20) on a consistant basis.
