The Cajuns (3-12, 1-3 SBC) head to the Natural State this week to face Arkansas State (7-10, 2-2 SBC) Tonight at 7:00 and UALR (9-9, 1-2 SBC) on Saturday.
The Cajuns lead the all-time series with the Red Wolves, 42-19, and have won five of the last six. In the two meetings last season, the home team won by a narrow two-point margin. The past three meetings have been decided by a total of 8 points.
Last week, the two games for UL ended with the same score, 93-91. The last time the Cajuns had back-to-back games end with the same score occurred in the 1988-89 season. That year, UL defeated Sam Houston State 81-79 in overtime before defeating UCF four days later by the same tally.
In his first start since Dec. 12, Travis Bureau scored a season-high 22 points against Troy. He followed up with 14 more against the Blue Raiders. In the two prior SBC games, Denver and North Texas, the senior forward had been held scoreless.
UL has dropped the last 13 contests away from home. The last road win for the Cajuns came on Jan. 30, 2010 at La.-Monroe.
