UL has given up more yards on this drive of about a minute (after the turnover) than they gave up the entire 1st half.
UL gives up a FG and Monro leads 10-7 at HALFTIME
do the coaches teach them to fumble or throw interceptions or what? hello where's the discipline???
Thanks I wasn't sure anyone heard the tree falling in the forestOriginally posted by CaginDog24

COME ON Cajuns lets make a wooden Injun in the 2nd half.

- Babb has had very little time under center this year. Result off-sides
- Levier has had very few carries this year. Result no-timing, fumble.
- UL has played such a safe passing game all year it kills long pass success and allows the defense to intercept normally safe passes.

im wondering how Cash Mouton "stepped in front of" BJ on the 2-minute drive interception. I'm pretty sure it was a HITCH route... but I cant believe BJ didnt anticipate Mouton jumping the route.
this game has been very frustrating...
I'm thinking this guy anticipated the play from the beginning.Originally posted by texascajun

The HITCH route is normally a very safe pass.
texascajun were you taught to come back to the pass or to wait for the pass to come to you?
monroe's defense is simple. play zone on 1st & 2nd down...blitz/aggressive on 3rd down. that last int. was on 3rd & 3... you HAVE TO expect the DBs {now in man coverage or cov. 3 because of the blitz}...to anticipate a short, quick route...
you always "work back to the QB" if you feel a defender on your back. Hitches are 6yd routes that convert to fades if the DB is within "striking distance". I guess BJ didnt think Mouton could get out of his break fast enough...
Monroe got their biggest play of the game when they anticipated our blitz on 3rd down.
I say anticipated, but if the announcers had it right we crossed the line twice before the snap.
I wish I could watch the game.
that last turnover ____es me off more than levier's fumble.
same here...if i could see it, Id have a better perception
