I'm excited to see how this plays out. I wonder who's going to be our leadoff hitter? Seems like a spot Francia would have if he could make it into the lineup.

    1) ???? Maybe Fuselier? I know Bourque stole some bases, maybe him.
    2) Goulas
    3) Poirrier
    4) Petello

I want to see Ryan Leonards get some work. The guy is the real deal. Slick on the infield, and a solid hitter in the fall. I got to see three of the games in the fall and he made some great plays at short.

C Miss Keefer and Thad is gone....sigh. So this is gonna be between Strentz and Sinclair. Anybody see either of them at Fall Ball? How did they look.

1B To replace Justin is going to be really difficult. Chase Compton looks to be our only 1B. Hope he and Strentz can turn in Tyler Fredrick like performances as freshmen.

2B Is Poirier going to take back second. Or is Thomas Simoneaux or Matt Hicks 2.0 gonna yank it from him?

SS Greg.....get em. Jordan Bourque. Can't wait to see this kid.

    3B T-fred!!!!

LF Fuse keeps the TCH blood flowing through the Ragin Cajun club.

CF C'mon Bowman, we need you to be the beasty CF we know you can be.

RF Gooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! One more trip around the Sun Belt going out with a bang!!!

3 man Rotation Geith played well last year. Paging Michael Cook, Michael Cook, you are wanted on the mound. Satriano, guy is nails. Wild card....Jordan Nicholson.

Traffica in the pen. Bulliard in the pen. Lots of pitchers. Tony likes pitchers.

    Sun Belt....warned.

Tigers.....over rated!!! Clap clap clap clap clap _

Yes. According to an earlier report, he will be red-shirted this year.

Yes he is. Funny story. When Wade accepted the head coaches job at Tech, Thomas got very mad and said he was a Cajun and wasn't leaving. He has wanted to be a Cajun all his life!

I remember he had a good arm as a child; I hope he will develop into a D-1 player for us!

After watching Petello last year at UNO then again in the fall, he's the real deal. IMO if he would have played for a better team his draft status would have been better, (that's good for us). My question is how are we going to look on offense compared to last year? We lost Keefer but inherited Petello, still have Porrier, added Bourque. Lost one of the best defensive CF I can remember but might pick up more offense from that position.

I remember him saying that as Wade and Bridget lived in Carencro near me and had helped them move into there home. I gave them some carpet to put upstairs in their garage loft that became Thomas's camp. Bridget would help me correct some of my papers prior to turning them in to class. They were/are an awesome family and individuals.

And Yes Thomas was a "Ragin Cajun" at heart! My son would run around the bases with Thomas and Tony's sons after the games it was some really great times. Hopefully Thomas, Austin and Robe can create some more great memories!!!
