Whats good for the goose is good for the gander, Sissy. I seem to recall Leo Honeycutt moderating a debate for candiadtes for governor questioning Kathleen blanco's loyalities and prompting her to swear allegiance to the "Flagship" if elected. If you State fans can base your vote on such things, so can we. Afterall, we are just follwing the lead of the "Flagship"

Jeff, without hesitation purchased 4 season tickets. _
Awesome! Has he renewed them each year or bought any for any other UL Sports? Just wondering?

Dude, he is a season ticket holder, which is better than most alums.

As far as losing votes over what games you attend, we have much, much bigger fish to fry right now......like saving the republic.

Good, I'll treat him like any other season ticket holder, I'll buy him a beer. But don't give lip service to supporting UL while in reality supporting State and then play up the UL alum status at election time and expect my vote. We need the full support of our alums especially those in positions of power or influence.

Jeff called me during the election, but I didn't know what I know now. At some point we will talk again and I will bring this up with him.

I appreciate that he has season tickets...and he is not unlike many in this area who are alums, but that is where it stops. What I don't like is if he uses that he is an alum to get votes, but doesn't know us at any other times.

    I'll share that with him.

depends on his age--there was a window in there where you could attend something like "pre-law" and move into law school after 3 years of credits. got a couple law partners with jd's but NO college degree. they in fact take a bit of ribbing about not being "fully college educated."

The man is a season ticket holder and purchased them before running for anything.
    Chill people.

Tim...as a friend of Jeff's, I appreciate that he bought the tickets. I would just ask and suggest that he actually USE them every now and the. That is all.

Politicians will be politicians. They will pander to who they need to when they need the votes. While I'm glad Jeff won his election over the leftist trail lawyer, I'm not surprised he panders like the rest of them.

That's why by rule of law I don't trust them. Especially not the ones up there in that hell hole by the Potomac.

Having said that, I'll vote for a conservative-leaning LSU diehard over a pro-cap & trade, well re-distribution leftist Ragin Cajun any day. Just my personal thought.

It would be nice to see Congressman Landry at Cajun Field at least once this Fall, though.
