What would it be like to have one of the biggest pressure shots of your life? The student 3-point contest grew to 700 bucks. THey picked a guy out of the crowd in the student section. HE missed his shot for $700! That's a lot of money to us college folk. SO, the pot grew to $800.So we all had to wait to the 2nd half. The time comes again. The camera man puts his camera on our section, so I jump up and down, up and down. He PICKS ME!!!!!! I turn my hat backwards in anticipation and head to the 3 point line with the damn spotlights in my face. I'm cocked and loaded and
SWWWWWWWWWWAPP!!!!! You wanna talk about a pressure shot? NOthin like making the shot for $800, and over 6,000 fans screaming. And the Cajuns won. Hell of a night.

well, i thought i shot an airball. i would have been ____ed if I did, because I practiced at Red's for 2 1/2 hours. I had a game plan. None of the students get crazy about a chance to win that kind of money, so I just went crazy. I almost knew I was gonna get picked. And I have a little money left. Can't say what we all did in this forum, but you get the idea. After I made the shot, a lady tapped me on my back and said I oughta suit up and go play since the Cajuns couldn't buy a bucket in the 2nd half.

To answer your ? Turbine, I didn't know anything for about 10 minutes cuz I was in shock. I fugured it would get the crowd into it a little more. I had a feeling we'd win. We just had to. It was destiny(as American Idol contestants say).
