LAKE CHARLES, La. (AP) - A park built by thousands of volunteers has been destroyed by fire, and authorities suspect arson.

The Saturday night fire destroyed much of the Shiver Me Timbers Millennium Park located near the Lake Charles Civic Center.

Lake Charles Fire Chief T.A. Jones says the cause appears to be arson.
