Was also told Thursday that Dumas (Ark.) High QB Darion Griswold has been offered and is set to visit. As I blogged recently, Hudspeth inquired about him on Tuesday in Arkansas and came away impressed.

Couple of questions with this signing and the mention of the QB from Arkansas.

* By signing this safety is this any indication that we are completely out of the running for Scofield, I was under the impression that he was making a visit, but by signing Proctor are we assuming that Scofield is going to Tulane?

* What does the offer to the Ark QB mean for Guy "Sunshine" Billups? If this is true that we are offering him and he ends up signing we would have a abundance of QB talent on this team--SR Chris Masson, SR Brad McGuire, JR Blaine Gautier, SO Terrance Broadway, SO Blake Hollingsworth, JR Brady Thomas, FR Darian Griswold (possible).

With 7 QB's on the roster, what would happen to Billups? The good news for Billups is that 2 of those guys will be leaving the program next year, so he could RS, but would still be one of 5 QB's on the roster.

Josh, when are going to learn to stop writing all these positive stories on UL? No matter how factual they may be you are upsetting the local tanktoppers and Cajun Arnolds as evidenced by their comments on the DA website. You are really ruining it for "Acadiana1908" (suspected to be our old loyal alum Dana Terro aka 4dogs).

In your opinions... what are our chances at landing Bakari Hollier and/or Montrel Carter?

Hollier, not sure.

Carter, he's narrowed it to Memphis and Cajuns. Already took official visit to Memphis. Cajuns have chance to make big impression on his visit here. His dad played here. Exciting offense. Close to home. Some other schools have backed off recently, which is good for Cajuns.

Being completely honest, it's going to be tough for any recruit with an offer to leave their visit without committing.
